It was crazy windy when we pulled up to the Double K Ranch in Gainsville TX. Most of the decor was in place, and there was a sense of excitement in the air as everyone was putting the final touches in place for a perfect wedding day.

I couldn’t help and feel incredibly welcome when I started photographing her prep shots. There was an underlying happiness in everyone, and so much support coursing through all the bridesmaids, and family. Whitney’s sisters and her mother helped her into her gorgeous dress, and you could tell there was such a strong bond there between them all. When their father, brother, and Whitney’s son joined the group, it felt like the ambience was complete.

Between Austin and Whitney’s expressions as she walked down the ailse, I may or may not have teared up myself. There was a true dedication between them that didn’t need words, and translated beautifully into the images. The Ceremony started right at sunset with clouds covering them at just the right times. All in all it was the perfect ceremony for photography!

We were able to catch the final rays of sunlight for their protraits and AH!!! What perfection! I’ll let these speak for themselves. ❤

It was the first truly cold October night  in Texas, but that didn’t stop them from having fun and dancing the entire night through on the outdoor dance floor! Their DJ kept the energy up, and the laughter flowing. With so much energy, who cares about a bit of cold!

Whitney & Austin, thank you for letting us be a part of your wedding day. We hope you continue having tons of adventures together and wish you nothing but happiness as your new family.
