After meeting Scott and Sabrina, we knew their wedding would be a special one. Between meeting at Starbucks, having a 3 hour long conversation at our favorite bar, and numerous texts back and forth, we felt we had a pretty good idea of their love for life and for each other. That, coupled with our FAVORITE Make Up Artist, Liz Boures, and an awesome team of vendors, truly made this day special.
Scott and Sabrina’s story is unlike any other-who would have thought they would meet their future spouse on vacation?! It was January 2015 in Riviera Maya, Mexico-Scott was celebrating his 30th birthday and Sabrina was there for a Girl’s trip. They met at the outside pool bar turned “nightclub”, where they shared some drinks, laughs, and even a couple dances. They became quick friends and kept in contact every day since meeting in Mexico. In April of 2015, Sabrina decided to fly down to Oklahoma to tour a school that she was planning on attending in the fall, and while down there, she visited Scott. With butterflies in her stomach and a permanent smile spread across her face, Sabrina reunited with Scott five months later. In addition, she also met all of his best friends who flew in for Opening Day. The feelings grew stronger and the bonds thicker between the two of them. After the many miles, flights, adventures, and long talks from May to July; Sabrina decided to follow her heart and make one of the biggest decisions of her life. On August 29, 2015, she packed her bags and left everything she knew and was comfortable with, to move to Texas to be with Scott.
Scott and Sabrina love listening to all kinds of music, playing with their 2 adorable dogs (you know how I get around dogs. These two are CUTIES!) and going on adventures big or small. Scott knew he couldn’t let this girl get away. So two years to the day that they first met in Mexico, Scott took Sabrina to dinner at Texas de Brazil in Fort Worth, TX followed drinks at one of their favorite German bars to celebrate. After a delicious dinner, they walked arm-and-arm down towards the bar, making a pit stop at Sundance Square to see the beautiful water fountains. Unbeknownst to her, Scott had planned the entire night expertly and had a photographer waiting at the fountains to capture the special moment. After walking around the fountains a couple times, reminiscing on how they got to this moment in the last two years, Scott stopped and dropped to one knee and his answer was a squealed “YES!!!!”
Even with the crazy weather, and the last minute changes in plans, their day was beautiful, filled with love, laughter, friends, and family. Thank you both for letting us photographer your wedding day!
